Built in Boonah, for communities everywhere
We're a husband-and-wife team living in Boonah, Queensland — a small town in the Scenic Rim. We noticed something missing: our town had no on-demand food delivery service. If you wanted takeaway, you had to pick it up yourself.
So we started Boonah Eats, an on-demand food delivery business serving our local community. It grew quickly, and the response from locals showed us just how much small towns need this kind of service.
Along the way, we also delivered food for some of the big food delivery apps in Ipswich and Brisbane. That experience showed us both sides: customers paying high fees, and drivers doing the work but losing a big cut to the platform. We knew there had to be a better way.
That's why we designed and built Delivery Connect — to bring the same on-demand delivery service to other communities, but in a way that's more affordable for customers and lets drivers run their own businesses.
